Collier Row Youth Football Club has been awarded Issue 188’s Puzzle Digest’s Charity Award.

Successfully nominated by reader Carol Oakley, who requested the donation supported the U12 team, which her son Omari plays for.

Carol requested our donation go towards new kit and equipment.

Delighted by the opportunity to ‘give the team a ‘makeover’ and start the season with new team wear is Team Manager Barry Peavot.

‘Having young people take up sport and feel inspired to exercise and develop their talent is very rewarding’ said Barry. ‘Puzzle Digest’s generosity will really help the boys feel inspired on the pitch with their new strips’

Over recent years, there has been an increasing focus on developing grassroots football. Last year’s disruption to the sport left funding severely depleted.

Puzzle Digest is delighted to support a local team and boost youth development.
