Reader Generosity Giving Garden Project A Growth In Funds

Puzzle Digest is proud to support The Willow Garden Project, a community garden project. They are based at Fleetwood Cricket Club on the Fylde Coast of Lancashire.

Puzzle Digest received a nomination from winning reader Mrs Iris Gillott subsequently giving the charity a growth in funds.

Designed for people with a disability / mental health issues The Willow Garden Project with the intention of offering:

• Opportunities to enjoy the health benefits of gardening
• Healthy eating advice
• Physical activities encouragement
• A boost in confidence and self-esteem
• The motivation for a healthy lifestyle

This fantastic initiative achieves the above specifically via offering:

• Tailored Support: Meeting the needs of each individual
• A Safe Place: So that people can meet, relax and enjoy gardening
• Creative Activities: Frequently encouraging creativity and imagination (such as making craft items using upcycled materials)
• Social Activities: Introducing bespoke visual, audio, smell and touch experiences in their sensory garden consequently supporting peoples social development.
